The Most Expensivest
Illustration, Vectorization, Color · 2018
Most Expensivest is the Viceland show hosted by rapper 2 Chainz, built around the most expensive things in the world: food, drinks, jewellery, cars. It premiered in 2017 and ran for four seasons.
Kasana brought me in to help digitise the show's illustrated scenes. Working from the sketches they sent over, I produced the finished vector illustration: defining the linework, adjusting the composition where it needed it, and applying to each scene the colour palette I was given.
It added up to dozens of illustrated frames across the series, in a flat, saturated, high-contrast style that was then taken into animation.
